OFFICIAL AFTERMOVIE COMING SOON, WHY NOT WATCH OUR APRIL EVENT'S AFTERMOVIE FIRST.
LOWCO PRESENTS CARS & COFFEE 2024: SUMMER EDITION
Our Cars & Coffee event in April was not to the standard we hoped for. We were dealt with potentially the wettest weekend of the entire year and as such it was quite a cold and miserable day. Despite the overwhelming support we still received during and following the event, we couldn't just leave it at that.
We soon announced that we would be hosting another Cars & Coffee event to make up for the previous one, and on Sunday 11th August, we did just that, carried out our best Cars & coffee to date. The weather shifted to the complete other side of the spectrum with temperatures reaching up to 28 degrees and pure sunshine all day.
Throughout the day, we had over 600 vehicles of all shapes, sizes, colours and tastes attend. From stance to track, drift, off-road, classic and even some amazing OEM cars, we had an incredible variety. Out of the 600 vehicles in attendance we were only able to select one 'car of the day' which was extremely difficult to choose. Our sponsors and traders also had to choose just one car each, totaling to 7 awards to hand out on the day. Our choice was a stunning FD RX7, which we found out was actually an ex-demo car imported from Japan. It has a full RE-Amemiya AD-GT body kit, with plenty of carbon, airlift suspension, Rays TE37 wheels, and lots of performance parts, including being fully ported for that iconic rotary brap. A fully deserved winner of our car of the day award. Each award winner took home a skate deck trophy, and a box of goods from our sponsor, AutoFinesse.
A huge thank you to everybody who came to the event, thank you to everybody who behaved, collected litter after themselves and supported our traders and our very own pop-up shop. Thank you to our amazing volunteer staff for putting in a big shift to make the event the success it was. We cannot wait to host more events in the future and make them bigger and better every time.
2025 event date TBA.
